Strategic Communications

Communication and strategy go hand-in-hand…

Our Philosophy

Communication and strategy go hand-in-hand. Whether strategic leadership is required for an event, campaign, or the future direction of an organisation, communicating in a timely and clear way helps to build a community-focused response.

The most important thing I can do is hear and understand you. When I was leading nonprofits, I was often frustrated by feeling that a consultant was telling me what to do without understanding my business. It seemed a cookie-cutter corporate approach.

I come from the position that you know your business and stakeholders better than anyone. My job is to help you articulate your plans and walk with you in putting the plans into action.

Each organisation is unique because it is made up of individuals who are drawn together. For this reason, every client receives a boutique, bespoke service designed for their people.

These services have included developing strategic plans, authoring operational policies, instigating digital and social media campaigns, and building stakeholder databases.

Crisis communications and change management

Nobody likes change, but sometimes it’s necessary. Strategic communication needs to be employed from the beginning so stakeholders can feel empowered and invested – so they come along your journey with you.

I make it my object to understand your culture and your people in order to craft strategies and communications that speak to your stakeholders, giving them a sense of community, belonging and worth.

  • What Our Clients Say About Us

During COVID Lesa developed well-crafted, timely and appropriately nuanced communications for the residents who were mostly from overseas and so isolated in a foreign country and unable to return home. Lesa always communicated clearly and sensitively, addressing residents’ concerns and contributing positively to their wellbeing.
